假如福岛核废水排海可接受的话，切尔诺贝利经过几十年的「化解」，大概可以开发成旅游区了。再者，就算从最偏颇的角度审视，也不可能否定福岛核废水的害处远远高于一般的生活和工业废水；既然福岛可以排海，那么全球数以万计的污水处理设施是否都可以关闭，直接「深海处理」了事？
